He is a convicted felon.

That’s how I’m going to refer to him.

Twelve jurors in a Grand Jury saw enough evidence to warrant bringing charges in New York State for fraudulent records,

Just like the twelve Grand Jurors in Florida for the theft of classified documents,

Just like the twelve Grand Jurors in Georgia for requesting 11,780 votes be fraudulently flipped to him,

Just like the twelve Grand Jurors in Washington, DC, for [the] January 6, 2021, insurrection HE started!

 

Unique in the New York case is it was

In service to another crime: holding back info of the two affairs he had.

Revealed after the “Access Hollywood” tape.

He conned his lawyer into paying $130,000 hush money for the first slip-up.

He conned David Pecker into paying $150,000 to a Playboy Playmate.

 

He paid his lawyer, who served his sentence in Otisville Prison during the pandemic.

He stiffed Pecker (I can’t believe I’m saying that in a sentence), who he treats with kid gloves: what’s he got on him?

 

Then, post-Grand Jury,

Twelve jurors were selected to judge the evidence presented in a trial.

The accused had the right to defense.

The accused suggested he would take the stand.

News flash: he didn’t.

He glowered and farted through most of it.

Only speaking to cameras to gaslight and spin.

He attacked the judge, the judge's daughter, the jury, and the prosecution.

And whines about how it was “unfair” to him.

He’s proof of a two-tier justice system,

Anyone else would have BEEN in prison!

 

The burden was on the prosecution.

One of the jurors got his news directly from “Lie Social” (if we’re being honest).

And THAT person was down with the 34 counts against:

 

The convicted felon.

That’s how we should refer to him.

America: How does it make SENSE for a convicted felon to get the nuclear codes?

 

He will be sentenced four days before he accepts his hijacked party’s nomination.

Because he didn’t debate in the primaries, it looks more like a coronation.

Prepare yourself for a rambling, embarrassing, gaseous, dystopian address,

That their echo chamber will gaslight to Gettysburg status.

I’m spitting this piece so that you won’t forget:

Which is why Fred was arrested at a Klan Rally in 1927 in New York.

He got his fee-fees hurt at the White House Correspondents Dinner,

Who made fun of his co-opting Orly Tate’s birtherism fib,

“I’ve got people in Hawaii. You wouldn’t believe what they’re seeing!”

The sane among us didn’t.

He said Obama was the “founder of ISIS.”

Well, “stable genius” is the godfather of QAnon!

I’m putting these rhythm and poetry couplets together so you won’t forget.

 

He is a convicted felon.

Prior to his racist conniption fit,

Against Kwame Jackson on “The Apprentice,”

He openly supported a woman’s right to choose.

He donated to Senators Chuck Schumer and Hillary Clinton.

She and Bill attended his third wedding.

(Who was his affair on his then-wife Marla Maples, who was his affair on his then-wife Ivana.)

Chelsea and Ivanka (their daughters) were close friends.

 

But, just like everything else in this conman’s life,

The only thing that matters is him.

I repeat with no chagrin:

 

He is a convicted felon.

That’s how we’re going to refer to him.

 

In front of his gaudy, self-named Tower of Babel,

A New Yorker gave me his local nickname: “Dumbo Gambino.”

An acknowledgment by the Gotham resident that,

He IS a criminal, just not a very good one.

 

Perhaps if he had been disciplined by his parents.

Perhaps if he had been diagnosed with a learning disability.

He wouldn’t have so many self-esteem issues.

 

He wouldn’t be cheating like he breathes.

Lying as his “love language,”

Murdering millions of people during the pandemic from benign neglect and incompetence.

As a malignant narcissist, he is compelled to create a false reality where he always “wins.”

He couldn’t be bothered to study in college,

Preferring to be in New York on the weekends,

Understudying with Roy Cohn and criminal syndicates,

 

Marketing Professor William Kelly said:

“He was the dumbest goddam student I ever had.” He came to Wharton like he knew everything and was noted for his arrogance.

 

To recap:

Dumbo Gambino wasn’t convicted by a Soros-backed “deep state” conspiracy.

He was tried by a Grand Jury that found enough evidence to bring charges,

He was tried by a jury of his New York peers, finding him guilty of 34 counts.

Between Florida, Georgia, and DC, he has 54 charges to be adjudicated.

This was the “weakest case,” according to the “experts,”

Abased before it was finally elevated.

In the only case, he couldn’t procedurally delay:

 

He is a convicted felon.

That’s how we ALL should refer to him.

 

I would say that saying he’s a “convicted felon” would drive him insane,

But, to use a well-worn golf trope:

“That’s not a drive; that’s a very short putt!”

Insurrection (noun): an act or instance of revolting against civil authority or an established government. Merriam-Webster

 

“No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may, by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.”

Article 14, Section 3.

Not a coup or a civil war.

It doesn’t have a time stamp that disqualifies you if your riot was “three hours or less.”

 

It’s simply for

“Revolting against civil authority or an established government.”

 

It sounds like blocking the appointment of Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court.

It sounds a lot like trying to overturn a free and fair election that you LOST!

It sounds a lot like a Supreme Court trying to spitball The Constitution to allow a criminal with 91 federal counts against him to run for the office he figuratively shat on!

His followers had bowel movements in the Capitol.

Who had the same Physics book in his work office as I did in my home office by Halladay and Resnick,

“Mr. Harvard” suddenly remembered a meeting he had to attend (that no calendar had scheduled).

 

So, I don’t compare us to your Ivy League institutions: You haven’t gotten where we are.

Harvard directly benefited from enslaved labor.

A&T and HBCUs were our reaction to it after emancipation!

“Let freedom ring” had to include education.

Which one of us is the better institution is purely academic.

Ivy League school graduates get the pedigree.

HBCU graduates get the PRIDE and extended family.

Unlike Bo Derek’s cornrows and Travis Kelce’s fade, you haven’t culturally appropriated that!

 

So, please let me disabuse your impression of esteemed, solemn, and wise Ivy League-educated Justices:

Defending a guy whose nickname in his birth state is “Dumbo Gambino” is stupid!

He didn’t win his Queen’s borough or home state in 2016 or 2020!

Your parents could have saved their money paying for people to take your SAT and LSAT tests for you!

Or, bribing the test proctor to pump up your scores!

 

Six of you spitballing the Constitution is the judicial equivalent of shooting yourselves in the foot!

Do you THINK that there will be three coequal branches of government: the Legislative (Article I), the Executive (Article II), and the Judiciary (Article III - you) if Dumbo Gambino and his hired thugs from the Heritage Foundation and Project 2025 enact their fascist wet dreams?

This spell is a poetic composite of trolls online I have encountered and how I handled them.

After posting several pictures of my hero, Dr. Ronald E.McNair, and others for February,

I received this short missive from someone in their mommy’s basement:

 

“Since we have Black History Month, why don’t we have White History Month? Why do we have Women’s History Month, LGBT History Month, Asian-Pacific Islander History Month, and Hispanic Heritage Month? Isn’t that reverse racism? Isn't that heterosexual discrimination? Don’t ‘all lives matter?’”

 

I often encounter trolls who think that they are being clever in posting things like this,

Their mentality involves “narcissism, Machiavellianism, psychopathy and sadism.”

You can “write dope shit” and still be a psychopath.

 

What if the freed, formerly enslaved Africans were immediately paid reparations?

What if they got government subsidies for real estate and property expansion, just like the government did white western settlers?

What if they were taught a quality education for participation in the body politic?

What if Black Wall Street In Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Rosewood in Florida hadn’t been razed out of existence?

What if the fusion government in Wilmington, North Carolina, in 1898 had been allowed to exist?

What if the Ku Klux Klan hadn’t killed or thrown out the elected officials, razed the black newspaper, and threatened its editor with lynching?

What if Central Park was still the black township of Seneca Village?

 

Would there have been an Emmett Till?

Would there have been a need for a Montgomery Bus Boycott?

Would there have been the need to “Sit In” at the F.W. Woolworth counter?

Would there have been a March on Washington on the same date that Emmitt was lynched?

Would Trayvon Benjamin Martin have become his modern equivalent?

Or Jordan Davis, Reneisha McBride, Sandra Bland, Breona Taylor, Michael Brown, or too many, I'm too exhausted to name?

Dr. King wouldn’t have left Dexter Avenue Baptist Church’s pulpit,

And might have lived to a ripe old age without much incident.

 

What if the descendants of the white men who lynched Emmett Till, a child, stopped taking potshots at his grave marker?

What if the practice of Black History Month is corporate whitewashing of what Dr. Carter G. Woodson originally intended?

Dr. Woodson gave oppressed people the tools to fight against gaslighting.

Just like they jumped on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion bandwagon after lynching George Floyd on livestream.

 

What if Malcolm Little’s dad hadn’t been lynched?

What if his mom hadn’t been committed to an insane asylum?

What if he and his siblings hadn’t been split up in foster care?

You wouldn’t have created a Malcolm X.

 

What if, indeed?

Because if all these hypotheticals had happened,

We wouldn’t be having this conversation!

 

You’re so vexed about not having a month specifically named for your culture,

You missed the point that our hidden history is a reliving of shared trauma.

Just like Asian-Pacific Islanders Month has to discuss the Chinese Exclusion Act, the fact that the U.S. interred George Takei and his family (Mr. Sulu of Star Trek), and the U.S. TOOK the Kingdom of Hawaii as a naval coaling station!

Just like Women’s History Month is about struggles with patriarchy.

Just like LGBT History Month must discuss the assassination of Harvey Milk, the murder of Matthew Wayne Shepard, and the police attack on Stonewall.

Just like Hispanic Heritage Month has to discuss Cesar Chavez, the plight of Hispanic agricultural workers, and the fact that “remember the Alamo” is superfluous,

Since you conveniently forget that the whole conflict was that Mexico wouldn’t extradite escaped Africans back to the United States!

 

Cubans who escaped Castro were allowed to touch Florida’s shores,

Haitians, whose ancestors repelled French colonialists, are turned back with a shoulder shrug.

 

As a matter of fact,

HAITI had to pay FRANCE for 122 years: reparations.

20 to 30 billion in today's dollars.

The cost of colonizers losing free enslaved labor,

Started in 1825 directly to the Gauls, having the gall to ask for it,

Transferred in 1922 to the National City Bank of New York, now Citibank.

This HEIST is the cause of Haiti’s poverty, NOT indigenous religious practices!

 

So my perspective,

To your objections,

Is like Jack Nicholson said in “A Few Good Men,”

“You can’t handle the truth,” or this smoke!

Twenty-two years ago today,
The world was propelled unwillingly into the arms of blowback:
A Saudi Sheik, Osama Bin Laden,
Trained by the CIA in the Mujahadeen,
Convinced 19 men, 15 from his nation,
To willingly plunge top-fueled planes into the Twin Towers, the Pentagon,
Some "let's roll" Flight 93 passengers thwarted a fourth meant for the US Capitol.

Sixty years ago this week,
I was one year, one month and one day old,
On my mother's thirty-eighth birthday,
I was potty trained.
I was reminded of this,
Not that I would remember it after
I bragged to my big sister that my granddaughter was two and potty trained.

"We had cloth diapers back then. No one was playing with you, Reggie,"
Meaning: Changing cloth diapers, flushing the load, and WASHING them probably wasn't pleasant!
And the observation that disposable diapers might have delayed development.

On our mother's birthday,

I was one year, one month and one day old.
On that day,
Four girls were killed by white supremacists in the notorious 16th Street Baptist Church bombing in Birmingham, Alabama, sixty years ago.

Growing old in my community is a privilege not afforded to many.
To this day, in 2023,
We rightly describe Al Qaeda as a terrorist organization,
Yet, the Department of Justice has no such designation for Nathan Bedford Forest's KKK,
Whose whole existence centered on terrorizing the newly freed and formerly enslaved into not voting in the best interests of their communities.

Two medical professionals,
Dr. Elizabeth H. Blackburn and Dr. Carol W. Greider,
Shared the Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine with Dr. Jack W. Szostak in 2009 "for the discovery of how chromosomes are protected by telomeres and the enzyme telomerase."

Let me translate:

The long, thread-like DNA molecules that carry our genes are packed into chromosomes, the telomeres being the caps on their ends. Elizabeth Blackburn and Jack Szostak discovered that a unique DNA sequence in the telomeres protects the chromosomes from degradation. Carol Greider and Elizabeth Blackburn identified telomerase, the enzyme that makes telomere DNA. These discoveries explained how the ends of the chromosomes are protected by the telomeres and that they are built by telomerase.

If the telomeres are shortened, cells age. Conversely, if telomerase activity is high, telomere length is maintained, and cellular senescence is delayed.

The National Institute of Health found telomeres profoundly shortened in African Americans, corresponding to shorter lifespans of existence.

September 11, 2001, was on a Tuesday.
September 15, 1963, my mother's birthday, was on a Sunday.
Four little girls, who should be grandmothers, were practicing for a performance that day when domestic terrorists bombed their church.

Their reaction to the March on Washington on the anniversary of Emmitt Till's lynching.

And my mother and father, the day after, had to go to work on Monday.
(For them, "Father Knows Best," "Ozzie and Harriet," and Ward and June Cleaver in "Leave It to Beaver" did not exist as an option.)
After the news, they had to drop me off at the sitter and hope that they would see me again.
Attending church services (I was told) was understandably limited.
Living in fear of being killed for being black shortens your telomeres.
There is cause and effect, not "Curses of Ham" or divined magic.

Growing old in my community is a privilege.
We are 400 years tired of this terrorism.
For the "sin" of being brought here in chains for forced servitude.

It isn't "woke": It's history.
It isn't "book banning": It's psychopathy.

You CANNOT ban the book that is seared in my soul.

What's insanity is that the Department of Justice still refuses to designate Christian nationalists, the KKK, white nationalists, and white supremacist groups as domestic terrorist organizations, like Al Qaeda.

As Americans finally experienced,
On September 11, 2001,
The psychological effects of the horrific fear of not knowing what calamity would end your existence.

Living in fear of being killed for the "sin" of being alive shortens your telomeres.

As my big sister observed:
This country needs more cloth diapers for our development.

Telling everyone to “turn the other cheek,”

You know,

The nonviolence on which Dr. Martin Luther King based his movement and philosophy,

Along with a sprinkle of Mahatma Gandhi,

The Sermon on the Mount that we all THOUGHT they believed,

A congregant asked the theologian:

“Where did you get those LIBERAL talking points?”

 

To which he replied:

“I’m [literally] quoting the words of Jesus.”

 

The reply from the congregant:

“Yes, but that doesn’t work anymore. That’s weak!”

 

Dumbfounded, the theologian didn’t know how to reply or speak.

Walking into Panera Bread and Starbucks,

With AR15s and grenade launchers slung over their backs!

 

Any movement, so armed to slay dragons,

When none, except Kimono, actually exists,

They are poised for violence,

They are poised for a tumultuous crash,

A crisis from which they will not recover [and] will likely no longer exist.

 

What they feared was enough for them to sell what was left of their souls to an orange devil,

 

Quoting myself:

They’re not following brown-skinned Palestinian prophets,

Who’s neck they’d stretch or likely stomp on,

They wanted to throw out the votes of the “least of these,”

The actual “meek of the Earth” that looks like him,

The “Golden Calf” in their Sinai Desert,

The altar of white supremacy,

Cremation altars of “I [really] don’t care” (do you?)

Separating brown-skinned youth from their parents,

Pitching children and the future through the flaming altar of Moloch,

Or, Rio Grande barbed wire death traps!

 

They are:

Anti-Arts,

Anti-Education,

Anti-History,

Anti-Immigrants,

Anti-Science,

Anti-BIPOC,

Anti-Love,

Anti-LGBT,

Anti-Muslim,

Anti-Semitic,

Anti-Woke,

Anti-Women,

Anti-HUMAN!

Following their cult leader over the abyss into oblivion,

This is what I get:

My dad bought me a BB Air Rifle.

I did target practice in my backyard in a cardboard box stuffed with old newspapers against the backdrop of our garage.

I could recover the BB pellets, using them over and over again.

I was practicing for the JROTC rifle and pistol team: we took second in the state, beaten by an all-female team.

Some of my friends’ dads took them deer hunting.

I like venison, but orienteering with a map in the dark of night was as much of the forest as I was interested in.

Winchester and Remington were the standard brands of rifles back then.

 

I get owning Air Guns.

I get dear rifles.

I get the idea of responsible gun ownership.

 

I don’t get giving assault rifles to five-year-old children.

This “American Carnage” wasn’t enough:

In state capitols,

In churches,

In colleges,

In neighboring houses,

In malls,

In post offices,

In k-12 schools,

 

We have more guns than citizens.

We have more murders than other comparable nations.

We call Chicago “Chi-Raq,” but that’s now our ENTIRE nation!

Political violence has now become a tactic when one side can’t legitimately win elections.

 

Sandy Hook and Uvalde weren’t enough,

So, now you’re taking this sadism to nurseries and kindergartens?

 

Questions:

Which families are going to be able to afford these wee tactical death instruments?

What zip codes do their parents live in?

What happens if a little girl simply doesn’t feel the affections of a five-year-old would-be suitor,

Who just can’t take NO for an answer?

 

What if a five-year-old little boy has two mommies or two daddies?

And what if his kindergarten classmate, Beaufort Beauregard Robert E. Lee Jackson, the FIFTH,

The byproduct of generations of cousin coitus,

Fresh from a propaganda tent revival [just] ain’t feeling Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion?

 

I’m sick and tired of hearing about “thoughts and prayers” you’re not even thinking or uttering!

 

The Ku Klux Klan’s main reason for existence was to scare newly freed (then only) black men from voting.

Their spiritual descendants are hellbent on anyone other than white cisgender men fearing for their [own] existences!

Now, their domestic terrorism is extending into the brief lives of our children.

 

I get pistol and rifle teams.

I got BB air pistols and rifles.

I got wildfowl and deer hunting.
