Dear Eve, and Lilith[1],
Last week, I spoke with my black brothers.
(I was a little blunt and harsh if you caught it.)
Rather than cursing like a football coach,
I am penning this open letter to address the decision you will
make,
In the world that you and your daughters will inhabit.
I have a granddaughter.
Who was born in a world where she briefly had bodily autonomy.
She lost that by the time she turned three.
She’s five now.
She’s smart, curious, and oblivious to the world around her
and its consequences,
For her as a black woman:
She is already stigmatized by her sex and the color of her
skin.
It was called the “Dobbs decision,”[2]
But the political hack that wrote the majority opinion,
Cited a 17th-century zealot[3]
who used to demonize women as witches.
He killed ZERO magicians in his conflagrations,
Just women killed by the state using lies, torture, and
ignorance.
I use your biblical names, Eve, and Lilith,
Because they are the names that the weaker sex gave you,
Because it is a form of gaslighting,
Men placed all the world’s problems at your doorstep when you never
caused them.
Because, like most malignant narcissists,
We cannot take responsibility for the things we do.
Other than Helen of Troy desired by Paris, name one woman who has started a war between nations for resources.
Christian nationalism cum white supremacy is
anxiously numerical.
It’s how you must look at the Dobbs decision.
“White” was a category created after the Bacon Rebellion,[4]
To place a barrier between Africans, and European
indentured servants.
The rich play class warfare between groups because it’s always worked.
Their descendants are erasing history and banning books.
It’s a facade, a mirage, and magical thinking.
The first persons concerned about abortion weren’t ministers,
They were the enslaving plantation owners.
African men were breeders, and women were broodmares.
Concerned about their herd of human stock dwindling.
So much so, that they practiced miscegenation as a twisted
form of “diversity.”
Their wives were to smile and pretend
that it didn’t exist.
Even though their husbands paraded Mulatto children[5]
in front of them.
Your proximity to the white male patriarchy will not
save you.
Kate Cox from Dallas, Texas is a recent example.[6]
She had a complication with her pregnancy that put her life in
danger,
Texas has banned abortive healthcare.
Kate had to flee the state for lifesaving surgery.
The good news is that Kate is pregnant again.
The bad news is women of color don’t have the same resources.
26,313 Texas women have been forced to birth the children of
their rapists.[7]
AG Ken Paxton has ensured have the right to visit.
But Ondrea, a black woman from San Antonio, Texas, excited to have a baby girl with her husband, had a complication, that led to sepsis, which led to surgery,
That led to her and her husband losing their ability to have children.
“White supremacy is anxiously numerical.”
Citizens United in 2010, empowered American Oligarchy.
Dobbs gutted Roe in 2022,
They’re coming for Obergefell, contraception, and Loving (not
sorry, Clarence Thomas).
They are laser-focused on 21 years from now in 2045,[8]
When the socially constructed majority becomes a minority.
They artificially boost women like Kate
who have escape-hatch resources.
And women like Ondrea, whose “dreams are deferred,” and left
wanting.
I lived in the world before Roe.
On the side of Winston-Salem, referred to as
the ghetto.
You couldn’t help but have attended a few funerals where “coat hanger” was whispered.
The woman in the casket lost her battle with a piece of metal,
Because of the thought of being the broodmare of her rapist was untenable,
Who in many cases, was her father, brother, stepfather, uncle, cousin, or her mother’s boyfriend.
She was like the Africans who flung themselves overboard,
rather than take their chances in a nation birthed by land theft.
Men are the reason for your demonization.
As a man, I am asking you for your forgiveness.
If you don’t have a granddaughter,
If you have a daughter, a mother, a sister, an aunt, a niece, a friend,
or a cousin,
Your proximity to white supremacy will not
save you.

Washington Post owners are “obeying in advance” of fascism,
Opposite the advice from Timothy Snyder,”[9]
Acquiescence to being the strongman’s concubine has a limited shelf life.
“I’m going to make him an offer he can’t refuse.” Don Corleone.
“I’m going to protect women whether they like it or not.” Guess who?
Bullies
stop when you stand up to them.
“Democracy dies in darkness.”
Its demise is steeped in cowardice.
Jeff Bezos decided there is no downside to supporting
a fascist:
If democracy wins, the rule of law continues.
If fascism wins, he’ll find out that weakness only encourages him.
It’s shameful that actual billionaires can be cowed by a
fake one.
Mackenzie Scott appears to be the lucky one.
Think about the world you will create or destroy by the votes you cast.
“The Handmaid’s Tale” has a female hierarchy,

Martha’s,
·
Aunts,
·
And Handmaid’s,
But they all can be summed up in one word: slaves.
This is the world Dobbs gave us.
If you’re [a] Commander’s wife:
You’re a broodmare with special
status.
The last time I checked,
The Antichrist[10] is a man, not a woman.[11]
He might have a dangerous cult following him.
Their threats of violence is the textbook definition
of demonic.
