“Moms for Liberty,”

An oxymoron more than military intelligence,

It is designated as one of twelve hate groups,

Identified by the Southern Poverty Law Center,

In their annual “Year in Hate and Extremism” report,

 

More accurately, they are:

Assholes with Casseroles, or

The Minivan Taliban!

 

We might as well 

start calling them “Klan’ed Karen Hood,”

They are the natural outgrowth of calling 911 to slaughter US citizens,

Threatening “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” at a family reunion or picnic.

Why murder by proxy when you can do it directly?

Holding a Klan conclave in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,

Birthplace of the US Constitution and the Declaration of Independence,

Protesters hung apropos signs outside of their hotel rooms:

 

“Please disturb — fascism in progress.”

“Did you know a designated hate group is staying in this hotel?”

 

They’re proud of bullying trans kids, for Christ’s sake 

‘Moms for Liberty’ Are Neo-Nazis With Wigs and Lipstick.

Betsy DeVos,

Married to the heir of the Amway fortune,

Was the Secretary of Education, with 

ZERO experience as an educator,

(So, zero experience was Secretary Arne Duncan in the Obama administration),

Under Orange Satan’s administration,

She, like many others he appointed,

Tried to destroy her department,

In her remarks, she didn’t think the Department of Education should exist,

The main pillar of democracy is an informed citizenry,

The Minivan Taliban wants to ban books like Nazis.

Ignorance leads to violence and apathy,

Especially against the LGBT,

Betsy DeVos might as well have stated that she was a fascist.

 

These fascist mothers quoted Hitler: “He alone who owns the youth attains the future.”

 

Quoting

One of the speakers at the event said that public schools were like Chinese communist reeducation programs.

 

“You have to understand…that you’re sending your children to Maoist thought-reform prisons” and that parents need to “fix this system to get this crap seen and identified for the crime against humanity that it is and pulled out of the schools. You’re war moms; you got this.”

 

The joyful warriors clapped and cheered.

It’s no wonder we’re losing teachers EVERY year!

This lunacy would exhaust anybody sane from the profession.

 

Artists, comedians, poets, scientists, and writers,

Stand in the gap of history and humanity to say: YOU CAN’T HAVE THEM!

Children must be free to learn in multiple venues,

Science fairs, poetry festivals,

 

“The road to hell is paved with good intentions,” Abbot Saint Bernard of Clairvaux said,

And apathy,

Apathy is the “hell express!”

We’re not choosing between “the lesser of two evils.”

We don’t have the luxury of being “above the fray.”

Every single election is a struggle between democracy and fascism.

 

In 1994,

Newt Gingrich led a political coup,

The Republicans scored a surprise route,

The first time coming to power in forty years,

Resulting in him being made Speaker of the House,

Most of us recognized his “Contract With America” to be a “Contract ON America,”

As in the first of many hostage situations,

It was the end of congeniality,

And the beginning of political nastiness,

Ending after many Ken Starr dead ends with a blow job impeachment!

 

I suddenly realized, with utter contempt,

At a meeting of the National Society of Black Engineers, Austin Alumni Chapter,

At the University Hills Library,

I was the ONLY one in attendance who voted in the midterm elections!

 

There was apathy in 1994,

There was apathy in 2010,

There was apathy in 2014,

Newt’s “contract” cum “Tea Party” cum the Orwellian “Freedom Caucus” to this current darkness of Christian nationalism,

 

News flash: The Nazis in Germany thought their movement was Christian!

Or women married to plantation oligarchs or Grand Dragons,

 

I agree with ONE thing from “Klan ’ed Karen Hood”:

We are at war, all right, but with THEM!

We are at war at the ballot box.

We are at war for environmental and social justice.

We are at war as we fight for our future!

We have ONE planet, and everything doesn’t work out “happily ever after” like The Cartoon Network!

We need to vote ourselves a supermajority and vote this fascism out of existence!
